This painting depicts designs associated with the Two Kangaroo Dreaming at the site of Marnpi, a rockhole site situated in sandhill country to the south-east of the Kintore Community. The yellow dots in the painting represent the clumps of spinifex growing at Marnpi. In mythological times two Kangaroo Ancestors came to this site carrying ceremonial items in a pouch. As the ceremonies associated with Marnpi are of a secret nature the artist did not reveal any further detail.
